Cookie policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a little text file that a website leaves on your phone, tablet or computer. Cookies help some parts of the site work, and they make your visit easier.

Why we use them

At CCTV Kit Direct, cookies do four everyday jobs: running the site, signing you in, remembering your choices and showing us how much traffic the site gets.

Three kinds of cookie

Must-have cookies

These keep you signed in, hold on to your basket and help keep the site secure. The site needs them, so they cannot be turned off.

Visitor numbers

These tell us, without saying who you are, how people find their way around, so we can make the site better.

Your settings

These remember things like your language or region, ready for when you come back.

Turning cookies off

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings whenever you like. Just bear in mind that some parts of the site, such as signing in or placing an order, may stop working without them.

Other people’s cookies

A few cookies come from services we use on our pages, such as the company that takes your payment and our analytics tools.
