About these terms
Whenever you browse the CCTV Kit Direct website or buy from it, these terms apply. Please give them a read before you order, and if they are not right for you, please do not use the site.
As a consumer, your statutory rights always come first. Nothing here takes them away or limits them, and if anything here clashes with them, your rights win.

How an order becomes a contract
When you place an order, you are offering to buy. The contract only starts when we confirm we have dispatched it; placing the order, or getting an acknowledgement, does not start it.
If an item is no longer in stock, or a price or description on the site turns out to be wrong before we dispatch, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
What you pay
Our prices are shown in pounds, and the price on each item is all you pay for it. Checkout adds delivery only, when there is a charge.
You will see the delivery charge before you pay. Prices can change from time to time; once we accept your order, its prices are fixed.
Delivery
Delivery times on the site are our best estimate. If no date has been agreed, your order will come without undue delay, and never later than 30 days from when the contract was made.
The goods are at your risk from delivery. As a consumer, they become yours, and your risk, once you or someone you nominate physically has them.
Returns
Shopping as a consumer, you can cancel anything ordered from us at a distance within 14 days, and you have extra rights when something is faulty or misdescribed. A business return needs our say-so first, and a restocking fee might be charged.
Our Returns and Refunds page has the full detail, and it forms part of these terms.
Our liability
The law does not allow some liability to be limited, and we would never try: if our negligence caused a death or personal injury, if there was fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or if your consumer rights were breached.
Apart from that, indirect or consequential losses are not something we can accept, and neither is lost profit, revenue, data or business, whether it comes from the goods or from using this website.
For business buyers, the most we are liable for on an order is the price paid.
The law behind these terms
English and Welsh law sits behind these terms, and any dispute is for the courts in England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland and shop with us as a consumer, your own local courts remain open to you.
If something goes wrong
Please email [email protected] with your complaint. We will confirm it has reached us, then explain what we are going to do about it.
