A 6U cabinet gives a kit's switch, patch panel and recorder a locked home on the wall. This is a 6U cabinet in the standard 19-inch rack format, 600mm wide by 350mm deep by 370mm high, made of steel with a black powder-coated finish.
It has a lockable front door, and ventilation openings for passive airflow around the equipment inside. It is made to be fixed to a wall.
The 350mm depth leaves room for a small switch or patch panel with its cables behind, and keeps the cabinet close to the wall.
