If you cut a coax lead to length for a new camera, it needs a plug on the end. This three-piece BNC male connector is made for RG59 coaxial cable.
It comes as a connector body, a centre pin and a crimp sleeve, and needs a standard coaxial crimping tool to terminate. It is metal, and it suits analogue CCTV as well as the HD-over-coax formats HD-TVI, AHD and CVI.
It is a good fit when you are fitting your own camera runs for a coax kit. Check that your cable is RG59, and that you have the tool, before you order.
