A small recorder or power unit left on a shelf is easy to knock, unplug or walk off with. This beige steel enclosure puts it on the wall instead, in a box measuring about 180mm wide, 180mm high and 50mm deep.

The front panel is hinged, so you can open it for servicing without unscrewing the whole box. Knockouts in the body let power, network and video cables enter neatly, and ventilation openings allow passive airflow around the equipment inside.

The beige finish is a protective coating on the steel. Measure your equipment against the 50mm depth before ordering, because only compact units will fit.
