The Festo QS-8-50 joins 8mm outside diameter pneumatic tube to a component through a male threaded connection, such as a valve, cylinder or manifold.
Tube pushes in without tools and a release ring removes it. The thread is nickel-plated brass with thread sealant already applied.
It is for compressed-air and automation work, such as machinery and industrial control, and has no use in a camera installation. Check that your port matches the 1/2 inch thread before you order, and that your tubing is 8mm outside diameter.
