This black extender kit moves an HDMI picture and its sound along standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable, up to 30 metres between the two units. Full HD 1080p is supported.
The transmitter goes on the HDMI output of the source, which can be a DVR, NVR, computer, media player or TV box. The receiver goes on the monitor, HDTV or projector. The units connect through their RJ45 LAN ports.
Installation is plug and play, with no software and no configuration. Running one thin network cable is easier than routing a long HDMI lead, which helps where the screen is in another part of the room or the building from the recorder.
