HikvisionModel DS-7616NI-M2/16P
For a larger IP system, the DS-7616NI-M2/16P is a 1U Hikvision recorder with sixteen PoE ports built in. Each camera plugs into the NVR with one network cable, so you can skip a separate PoE switch for a 16-camera install.
It takes up to 16 IP camera inputs and handles up to 256 Mbps incoming, enough for high-resolution streams. It decodes 16 channels at 4MP, records in H.265+, H.265, H.264+ or H.264, and has two SATA interfaces for drives.
Up to eight IP speakers can also be connected for announcements. If you have fewer cameras, a smaller Hikvision PoE kit is the simpler start.
