Hikvision DS-2CE72KF3T-PIRXO 3K ColorVu PIR Turret Camera with Siren and Strobe

The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF3T-PIRXO is a 3K ColorVu turret camera with a PIR sensor, siren and strobe light built in. It suits a shed, garage or back door where you want something that reacts, not only records.

The picture is 3K (2960 × 1665) in colour day and night, with white light up to 20m. 130 dB true WDR helps in strong backlight and 3D DNR reduces noise for a clean image. The lens is a fixed 2.8mm.

The PIR sensor detects body heat from a person. When it does, the camera can flash its strobe and sound the siren through its built-in speaker, which can warn someone off before they reach the door.

The camera is IP67 rated, so it can be used indoors or outdoors. It is a coax camera, so it fits a system that already has coax cabling and a compatible recorder.

Because the camera lights up and sounds an alarm, point it so the light does not shine into a neighbour's window. Mount it at a height where the PIR sensor sees people approach, and test it in the dark after fitting.
