2of 4 channels in use
The 2 cameras in the box use 2 of the 4 channels on the recorder. So there are 2 channels left over if you want more cameras later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 23 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 23 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Your choice
You can open the builder with this kit already loaded, then swap the cameras, pick a bigger drive or choose longer cables. It checks each change for you, so everything you end up with will work together.

Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
Yes. The DS-2CD1383G2-LIUF/SL has a microphone and a speaker built in, which gives two-way audio and an audible warning.
A monitor or TV with an HDMI input, and fixings to mount the 2 cameras. The recorder, 2 cameras, 2 network leads, an HDMI lead and the 2TB drive are in the box.
Yes, up to 2 more IP cameras can plug into the free PoE ports on the DS-7604NXI-K1/4P recorder. Beyond that you would need a PoE switch.
This is a complete PoE kit: the recorder, two cameras, network leads and a 2TB drive that is already fitted, so the cameras plug straight into the recorder, which also powers them. Nothing else needs a power socket near the camera.
DS-2CD1383G2-LIUF/SL is an 8MP 4K turret camera (3840 × 2160) with a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio. Smart Hybrid Light combines infrared and white light up to 30 metres, and the camera can flash its light and sound a warning when it detects a person or vehicle.
A microSD slot takes a card of up to 512GB for recording on the camera itself. The housing is IP67 and power comes from the recorder over the network cable.
The DS-7604NXI-K1/4P is a 4-channel AcuSense recorder with four PoE ports built in. It records IP cameras up to 12MP in H.265+, shows 4K over HDMI, and takes one SATA drive of up to 10TB. The recorder has 4 ports and this kit fills 2, so two more IP cameras can be added later without a PoE switch.
In the box: the recorder, 2 Hikvision DS-2CD1383G2-LIUF/SL cameras, a 1.5m HDMI lead, 2 Cat6 network patch leads of 20m (UKVISION, CCA) and the 2TB hard drive. You provide a monitor with an HDMI input and the fixings for each camera. Compare other sets in the IP PoE kits or the 2 camera kits.

Network (IP) system
One cable to each camera brings it power and picture.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
