Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
Yes, each has a microphone and speaker, and the recorder supports two-way audio over coax.
Eight coax cameras, and it can also add up to 12 IP cameras.
For a pub, a larger shop or a block of units, this kit puts eight cameras that can talk as well as listen on one recorder. Staff can speak to someone at a back door or loading bay through the camera, and every unit runs over a single coax lead.
The DS-2CE78K0T-LPTS is a 3K HD-TVI turret with a maximum resolution of 2960 × 1664. Smart Hybrid Light has up to 20 metres of white light for colour and up to 30 metres of infrared, with the mode set by you. Its IP67 rated housing is suitable indoors and out.
In the box: the iDS-7208HQHI-M1/XT 8-channel recorder, which records up to 5MP Lite or 3K Lite at 12 frames per second, takes one SATA drive of up to 10TB and can also add up to 12 IP cameras; 8 Hikvision DS-2CE78K0T-LPTS cameras; 8 RG59 BNC video leads of 20m, each with a DC power tail; a 12V 5A power supply with a built-in eight-way splitter; a 1.5m HDMI cable and a 2TB hard drive, already fitted. You provide a monitor with an HDMI input and a place to mount each camera.
Two-way audio works only with a recorder that supports it, and the iDS-7208HQHI-M1/XT does. The kit includes the power supply for all eight cameras. Other options sit in the 8 camera kits.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

In the box
The 8 cameras in the box use 8 of the 8 channels on the recorder. There is a camera on every channel already. For a bigger system, the next step is a recorder with more channels.
Around 11 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 11 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
