Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
The recorder is hybrid and can add up to 12 IP cameras alongside the coax cameras.
Yes. The housing is IP67 rated, which covers dust and water.
This is the 8 camera CCTV system for mixed sites: a shop, a yard and a workshop under one recorder. The DS-2CE78H0T-IT3FS has an IP67 rated housing, so the same camera works inside and out, and its microphone sends sound along the coax lead.
Each camera is a 5MP HD-TVI turret with a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1944 and a fixed 2.8mm lens. EXIR infrared gives night vision up to 40 metres.
In the box: the iDS-7208HQHI-M1/XT 8-channel recorder, which records up to 5MP Lite or 3K Lite at 12 frames per second, takes one SATA drive of up to 10TB and can also add up to 12 IP cameras; 8 Hikvision DS-2CE78H0T-IT3FS cameras; 8 RG59 BNC video leads of 20m, each with a DC power tail; a 12V 5A power supply with a built-in eight-way splitter; a 1.5m HDMI cable and a 2TB hard drive, already fitted. You provide a monitor with an HDMI input and a place to mount each camera.
Audio is only recorded if you switch it on, and rules on recording sound differ by premises, so check before you do. The recorder takes one SATA drive of up to 10TB and can add up to 12 IP cameras later. More choices are in the 8 camera kits.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

In the box
The 8 cameras in the box use 8 of the 8 channels on the recorder. There is a camera on every channel already. For a bigger system, the next step is a recorder with more channels.
Around 11 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 11 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
