HikvisionModel DS-3WR3X-1
Where a network cable cannot reach the recorder, the Hikvision DS-3WR3X-1 gives a compatible Hikvision DVR or NVR a wireless link instead. It plugs into the recorder's USB 2.0 port and needs no driver.
It uses the IEEE 802.11ax (WiFi 6) standard on the 2.4GHz band, with backward compatibility to 802.11b/g/n. Station mode joins an existing WiFi network; Soft AP mode is for local set-up. Security is WPA or WPA2.
The recorder link carries data at up to 20 Mbps, so plan your camera count and recording quality around that. The antenna is internal and the adapter is small, at 21 x 15 x 7.7mm. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure that your recorder supports it.
