PoE Extender 100m Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 PoE Repeater 802.3af/at for Distant IP Cameras

This PoE extender adds a further 100m of Ethernet cable to a PoE run. It is for the camera that sits beyond the normal 100m cable limit, such as one at a far gate, an outbuilding or the end of a long garden.

It supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE and Gigabit Ethernet. It has an RJ45 PoE input and an RJ45 PoE output, and it takes its power from the PoE input, so no separate power supply is needed at the far point.

Fit it inline between two cable segments. The extender regenerates the network signal and the PoE power, so a camera on the second segment gets both. It needs no configuration. The compact metal case cools passively.

Remember that the power is shared. The camera at the end, and the extender itself, draw from the same PoE port on the switch, so check the port budget. It also suits other PoE devices such as access points.
