This is a 1m cut length of red Cat6 U/UTP cable made for outdoor use. It has 23AWG solid copper conductors in four unshielded twisted pairs, and a UV-stabilised PE jacket for external duct or facade runs.
The 23AWG gauge is thicker than ordinary 24AWG cable, which helps keep resistance low when a PoE camera is powered down the cable. It is rated to 550MHz and has a Cat6 build suitable for Gigabit Ethernet.
Use it for short external hops, such as a camera to a junction box. The red colour is handy for marking a particular camera or circuit. You will need to fit RJ45 plugs or a keystone jack to terminate it.
