Western DigitalModel HDD-8TB-WD-SATA-Enterprise
This Western Digital Ultrastar drive stores 8TB on a 3.5-inch SATA interface. It is an enterprise-class drive made for continuous 24/7 operation, in data centres, servers and multi-drive RAID systems.
Its uses include surveillance recording servers, alongside NAS systems, virtualisation and backup. If you build a recording system around a server or a recorder with 3.5-inch SATA bays, this is a large drive for long recording periods.
Check what your recorder supports before ordering: capacity limits differ between models. Ask us before ordering if you need the spindle speed or cache size.
