This multi-function tester checks network and telephone cables. The NSS-468A works with RJ45 Ethernet leads, RJ11 phone leads and coax cables.
On a kit install it earns its place: test each cable run before the cameras go up, and you find a break or a wiring mistake while the cable is still easy to reach. Plug the two ends of the cable into the tester and read the result.
It is useful for IP camera kits, where every camera hangs on its own network cable, and for any lead you have crimped yourself.
