The N568R is a hand tool for fitting modular plugs. It crimps RJ45, RJ11 and RJ12 connectors and also cuts and strips, so one tool covers the preparation and the crimp.
It works with CAT5e and CAT6 Ethernet cable as used for IP cameras, recorders and switches, and with telephone cable. The crimp dies give a consistent termination and the handle is ergonomic for repeated use.
It is useful when you cut your own cable for a camera run and need to finish each end. You buy the plugs and cable separately.
