Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
The iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT recorder with a 2TB drive fitted, 3 cameras, 3 x 20m shotgun leads, a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and a 1.5m HDMI cable.
Yes. A 2TB drive comes pre-installed.
2TB, pre-installed in one of two drive bays.
Thirteen more on the free coax channels.
This is a complete Hikvision coax CCTV kit: iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT, a 16-channel AcuSense DVR with two HDD bays, with 3 UKVISION 8MP 4K audio turret cameras and a 2TB hard drive already fitted. This version has the same three cameras and 16-channel recorder as the 4TB kit, with a 2TB drive in the first bay.
It records up to 4K/8MP at 8 frames a second or 3K/5MP at 12, takes HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP inputs, and has up to 32 network camera inputs, each up to 8MP. These are UKVISION 8MP turrets (3840 x 2160) with a Sony sensor and an IP67 housing for indoor or outdoor mounting. Each has a built-in microphone sending audio over the coax cable, and a mounting base for fixing.
In the box: the recorder with the 2TB drive installed, 3 x 20m RG59 shotgun leads with BNC video and DC power ends, a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and a 1.5m High Speed HDMI cable for your monitor. You provide a screen, and a network connection if you want to watch remotely.
Mount the three cameras, run their leads to the recorder and plug the BNC ends into channels 1 to 3, then the power ends into the 4-way supply. Connect a monitor with the HDMI cable. The recorder has two drive bays, so you can add storage later without removing the 2TB drive.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

In the box
The 3 cameras in the box use 3 of the 16 channels on the recorder. So there are 13 channels left over if you want more cameras later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 15 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Pick a different hard drive
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 15 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
