Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
The iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT recorder, 4 cameras, 4 20m RG59 BNC video and power leads, a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter, a 1.5m HDMI cable and the 2TB hard drive, already fitted.
You need a monitor or TV with an HDMI input to view the picture. The kit includes a 1.5m HDMI cable to connect it to the recorder.
The recorder has 16 channels and this kit uses 4, so 12 are free. Ask us which cameras and power you will need.
This Hikvision kit puts 4 UKVISION 8MP 4K audio fixed turret cameras on a 16-channel 8MP iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT recorder, with a 2TB hard drive already installed. The cameras connect by coax: each has its own 20m RG59 BNC lead for video, with a DC power tail. Each camera has a Sony sensor, audio and an IP67 rating, and the 16-channel recorder gives you plenty of room to grow.
In the box: the iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT recorder, which is a 1U H.265 AcuSense model; 4 cameras; 4 RG59 BNC video and power leads of 20m each; a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and UK plug; a 1.5m HDMI cable; and the 2TB drive, ready to record. You bring a monitor with an HDMI input and a place to mount each camera.
Before you order, note that this is a coax kit: the cameras and recorder work over the BNC leads, not network cable, and the leads are 20m long, so measure the distance from each camera to the recorder. Plan a mains socket and a shelf or cabinet for the recorder, and a way to fix each camera. The kit does not include a monitor.
Pick it when four positions are needed now and the site may take more cameras later, such as the front, the back, a side gate and a yard. 12 of the recorder's 16 channels are left free. If you want to add cameras later, ask us what else you will need. More kits are in our 4 camera kits.

In the box
The 4 cameras in the box use 4 of the 16 channels on the recorder. So there are 12 channels left over if you want more cameras later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 11 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Pick a different hard drive
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 11 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
