Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
Twelve more analogue ones, since the recorder has 16 channels.
The cameras have EXIR 2.0 infrared up to 60m.
Yes, it has two drive bays and a 4TB drive fills one.
No. It is a 4-way splitter, all used by the four cameras.
Start with four cameras on a recorder that can run sixteen. This kit puts four Hikvision DS-2CE78U1T-IT3F 4K turrets on an iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT, so a growing business can add cameras later without swapping the recorder.
The DS-2CE78U1T-IT3F is an 8MP turret that records 3840 x 2160. EXIR 2.0 infrared reaches 60m at night, the housing is IP67 for dust and rain, and the output switches between TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS. The recorder encodes up to 4K/8MP at 8fps, has two drive bays and a 4TB drive installed.
The recorder is a 1U AcuSense DVR that also supports IP inputs, up to 32 channels at up to 8MP each. That gives you a route to add network cameras next to the coax ones.
In the box: four 20m RG59 BNC and DC power leads, a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and a 1.5m HDMI cable. The splitter feeds four cameras, so extra ones need extra power. A monitor is not included.
Fitting is straightforward: mount each turret, run its lead to the recorder, plug the BNC ends into channels 1 to 4 and the power ends into the splitter. When you add cameras later, you will need extra power and cable, so leave room in the cabinet. Set a password and the date on the recorder before you leave.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

The 4 cameras in the box use 4 of the 16 channels on the recorder. So there are 12 channels left over if you want more cameras later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 23 days of footage
There is 4TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 23 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
