A 2TB drive is fitted. Extra storage depends on how long you keep recordings, so check the recorder specification before long retention.
The 16-port NVR is the headroom in this kit. Eight 8MP turrets go on the first eight ports, and the other eight stay free, so a site that will grow can add cameras later without touching the recorder.
The UK-CI-4K-G1 is an 8MP PoE turret (3840 × 2160) with a 2.8mm lens, 113° of view, H.265+ and Smart Hybrid Light that reaches 30 metres. It supports audio.
In the box: the 16-channel PoE DS-7616NXI-K2/16P(E) NVR; 8 UK-CI-4K-G1 8MP audio PoE turret cameras; 8 UKVISION Cat6 patch cables of 20m; a 1.5m HDMI cable and a 2TB hard drive, already fitted. The NVR powers the cameras over PoE, so there are no power adaptors to buy. You provide a monitor with an HDMI input and a place to mount each camera. Its sixteen PoE ports (802.3af/at) power and connect the cameras directly, and it records up to 16MP.
Fitting is straightforward. Mount the 8 cameras, run each Cat6 patch cable back to a PoE port on the NVR, connect a monitor over HDMI and set the date and the recording schedule on the recorder. Nothing else has to be bought to get recording.

The 8 cameras in the box use 8 of the 16 channels on the recorder. So there are 8 channels left over if you want more cameras later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 5 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 5 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.

One cable to each camera brings it power and picture.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
