4of 4 channels in use
The 4 cameras in the box use 4 of the 4 channels on the recorder. There is a camera on every channel already. For a bigger system, the next step is a recorder with more channels.
Around 23 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.

Your choice
You can open the builder with this kit already loaded, then swap the cameras, pick a bigger drive or choose longer cables. It checks each change for you, so everything you end up with will work together.

Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
The iDS-7204HQHI-M1/XT recorder, 4 cameras, 4 RG59 BNC video and power leads of 20m, a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and UK plug, a 1.5m HDMI cable and the 2TB hard drive, already fitted.
You need a monitor or TV with an HDMI input to view the picture. The kit includes a 1.5m HDMI cable to connect it to the recorder.
Not on this recorder: all 4 channels are used. Ask us about a larger kit.
This Hikvision kit puts 4 5MP ColorVu audio fixed turret cameras on a 4-channel 5MP iDS-7204HQHI-M1/XT recorder, with a 2TB hard drive already installed. The cameras connect by coax: each has its own 20m RG59 BNC lead that carries the video and a DC power connector. It suits four positions, such as the front, back, side passage and a yard or garage.
In the box: the iDS-7204HQHI-M1/XT recorder, a 1U H.265 AcuSense model; 4 cameras; 4 RG59 BNC video and power leads of 20m; a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and UK plug; a 1.5m HDMI cable; and the 2TB drive, ready to record. You bring a monitor or TV with an HDMI input and a way to fix each camera.
Before you order, remember this is a coax kit: video and power run over the supplied BNC leads, not network cable, so measure the route from each camera position to where the recorder will sit. Plan a mains socket and a shelf or cabinet for the recorder. All 4 recorder channels are used, so a further camera would need a larger recorder. Ask us before ordering if any run is longer than 20m.

Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 23 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
