A DVR, the recorder for coax cameras
A coax (HD analogue) camera.
It sends TVI video: check your DVR takes it.
Check your recorder takes 2 MP cameras.
Not sure which recorder you have? A DVR has a row of round twist-on (BNC) camera sockets on the back; an NVR has none.
Starting a new system? See our coax camera kits.
Fixed cameras leave blind spots, and a PTZ dome is how a Hikvision coax kit gets a closer look at them. The DS-2AE4225T-A records 2MP Full HD over the same coax run as your other TVI cameras, so no network switch or IP set-up is involved.
The 4.8mm to 120mm lens zooms 25x optically, and the dome pans and tilts from a compatible Hikvision HD-TVI recorder. It has DarkFighter low-light imaging, 120 dB WDR for bright backlit scenes, and an IP66 rating for water and dust. Confirm your recorder supports PTZ control before you order.
