A recorder or camera with one RCA output sometimes has to feed two things, such as a microphone signal going to two devices. This Y splitter does that. Each one has a male RCA plug and two female RCA sockets.
The pack holds two. They are used for audio or composite video in CCTV and AV installs, and the contacts are metal for a steady connection. Each is a small inline adapter that fits into a cable run.
Check that the signal you want to split is on an RCA connector before ordering.
