When a camera cable is a little too short, this inline coupler joins it to a second length. Both ends are standard 8P8C RJ45 sockets, so any ready-made patch lead plugs straight in.
It is for Cat5e and Cat6 cable and passes Fast Ethernet and Gigabit speeds. Use it between IP cameras, recorders, switches, routers and patch panels.
The housing is small enough to fit inside a cabinet or junction box. It is not weatherproof, so for an outdoor join choose the IP67 coupler instead.
