The SPL-1-4 is a lever wire connector with 1 input port and 4 output ports, so one wiring point can share its supply across several conductors.
To fit a wire, open the lever, insert the bare conductor and snap the lever shut. It works without screwdrivers, crimp tools or solder, and can be opened again if the wiring changes.
It suits lighting and building wiring where one source must feed several conductors, such as a small supply split inside a box.
The housing is insulated flame-retardant plastic with metal contacts inside. It is small enough to fit in a junction box or enclosure.
