Smoke detectors can false alarm in a kitchen, garage or dusty room, and a heat detector avoids that. The Texecom AGB-0003 Exodus FT64 triggers when the temperature reaches 64°C and sends an alarm signal to the control panel.
It runs on 12V with a four-wire connection and an integrated alarm relay, so it wires to a conventional fire or intruder alarm panel. Microprocessor-controlled detection helps reduce false alarms, and a built-in test button lets an installer simulate an alarm during commissioning.
It meets EN54-5 and belongs to the Texecom Exodus range. It is a heat detector, not a smoke detector and not a camera.
