TIMCO Velocity 3.5x16mm Countersunk Pozi Wood Screw, Yellow Zinc Plated Steel

Not every fixing on a CCTV job needs a long screw. The TIMCO Velocity 3.5 x 16mm is a short wood screw for attaching fittings, hinges, brackets or thin timber sections, in timber, chipboard and other wood-based board.

It is a countersunk screw, so the head ends level with the surface, and the Pozi drive helps the bit stay seated while you tighten it. TIMCO makes it from steel with a yellow zinc plating, which the product data describes as suitable for interior building work and general installation.

Sixteen millimetres is a short length, chosen where a small fixing is enough. Measure the material first: if the screw could come out the far side of a thin board, it is the wrong size.
