A CCTV kit is only as steady as the surface it is screwed to. The TIMCO Velocity 3.5 x 25mm is a general-purpose wood screw for the moments when a camera bracket, junction box or cable clip needs fixing to timber or chipboard and the screws you have run out.
It has a countersunk head that sits flush, and a Pozi recess that holds the driver bit and helps stop it slipping. The steel body is yellow zinc plated, which TIMCO's product data describes as suited to interior building and installation work, so this is not the screw for exposed outdoor timber.
At 25mm it is a shorter fixing, intended for shallow timber fixings where little penetration is needed. For thicker material, look at the longer lengths in the same range.
