This Toshiba N300 gives 12TB on a 3.5-inch SATA III interface, with a 7200 RPM spindle and a 256MB cache. The N300 range is aimed at NAS enclosures that hold several drives and at heavy, continuous workloads.
It suits NAS servers, backup servers and surveillance storage systems, and works with surveillance recorders that take SATA drives. When you add cameras to a kit, footage grows quickly, so a drive of this size helps if your recorder accepts it. Check the recorder's maximum supported capacity first.
