UKVISIONModel CAT6-UKVISION-CCA-305M-BLACK-PE
Outdoor cameras need a cable that copes with weather on the way in. This 305m box holds black Cat6 UTP cable with a polyethylene (PE) jacket, which resists moisture better than ordinary indoor PVC. It suits external runs and conduit.
The conductors are copper-clad aluminium (CCA) in an unshielded twisted pair layout. It connects to RJ45 plugs, patch panels and network cabinets, and links IP cameras to a PoE switch or recorder.
CCA is a lower-cost core than solid copper, so keep PoE camera runs sensible in length, and choose solid copper for the longest or most demanding ones. A box this size covers many camera positions, so measure your runs before you buy.
