This splitter cable turns one HDMI plug into two HDMI sockets, so a single source such as a DVD player or a recorder's HDMI output can be cabled to two places. It carries video up to 1080p and the connectors are gold-plated.
Only one of the two outputs is active at a time, so it switches between screens rather than showing the same picture on both. Plan the second display with that in mind.
It is described for HDTVs, PS3 consoles, LED TVs, DVD players and most LCD projectors, for home or office use. It is not compatible with HDCP sources or MacBook devices, so check your source before you order.
