This balun turns a BNC camera or recorder connection into a twisted-pair one, so network cable can carry the picture. It is passive, so it needs no power supply.
It has a standard BNC connector and a gold-plated plate for stable contact. It supports HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and analogue video, for cameras up to 8MP (4K), over Cat5e or Cat6 UTP.
Passive baluns work in pairs, one at each end. For an extra camera on a coax kit where network cable is already in place, it saves running new coax.
