Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
Sixteen 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu fixed turret cameras.
Each camera comes with a 20m RG59 lead with BNC video and DC power ends.
All 16 coax channels are in use. The recorder can also take IP cameras.
Yes, a 4TB drive comes pre-installed.
This kit covers a big property in a single order: sixteen 3K turret cameras, a Hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT recorder, a 4TB drive and all the leads. Think of a warehouse, a school block, a hotel corridor run or a row of units where every camera has to reach one recorder.
The cameras are 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu fixed turrets. ColorVu is Hikvision's full-colour night picture, with a Smart Hybrid Light for the dark. Each camera has a 20m RG59 shotgun lead that carries video on a BNC plug and power on a DC plug.
The recorder has 16 channels, one SATA bay and AcuSense human and vehicle classification. It records 3K/5MP Lite at 12fps using H.265 Pro+ and accepts HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP signals. The 4TB drive is already installed.
Power comes from two 12V 5A supplies with built-in 8-way splitters, and a 1.5m HDMI cable links the recorder to your monitor. The kit has no screen.
If you only need part of a system, the same recorder is sold with fewer cameras, and a smaller number leaves free channels for later. With all sixteen fitted, extra cameras would have to be IP models on the recorder's network side.
Plan the cable routes before you open the box. Sixteen 20m leads add up to a lot of cable, so group cameras by direction, label each BNC plug at both ends, and keep the recorder somewhere ventilated and lockable. Set an admin password and the date and time as soon as the recorder is on, then check each channel's picture at night before you tidy the cables away.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.
12camerasRight for a big property or a yard
In the box
The 16 cameras in the box use 16 of the 16 channels on the recorder. There is a camera on every channel already. For a bigger system, the next step is a recorder with more channels.
Around 11 days of footage
There is 4TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 11 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
