Fifteen 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu turret cameras.
Yes. The recorder has 16 channels, so one analogue input is free.
A 6TB drive, already fitted.
Two 12V 5A supplies, each with a built-in 8-way splitter.
Fifteen cameras and a recorder with one channel spare make this a good match for a large building where the layout is settled but one extra spot may appear later. The recorder is the Hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT: 16 channels, a single SATA bay and AcuSense classification of people and vehicles.
The fifteen cameras are 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu fixed turrets, with a full-colour night picture and a hybrid light. Each has a 20m RG59 lead carrying BNC video and DC power. The recorder handles 3K/5MP Lite at 12fps and H.265 Pro+, and works with HDTVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP signals.
A 6TB drive is already inside, which suits a site that keeps footage for a good while. In the box you will also find a 1.5m HDMI cable and two 12V 5A power supplies with built-in 8-way splitters, giving 16 power outlets for 15 cameras.
You need a monitor and, for remote viewing, a network connection. The one open channel can take a sixteenth coax camera, or an IP camera on the network side of the recorder.
Before mounting, work out which camera goes on which channel and write it down. A fifteen-camera layout is easy to muddle, and a simple list taped inside the recorder cabinet makes later changes much quicker. Keep the 20m leads coiled neatly rather than cutting them, so a camera can be moved without buying new cable.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

In the box
The 15 cameras in the box use 15 of the 16 channels on the recorder. So there is 1 channel left over if you want another camera later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 18 days of footage
There is 6TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 18 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
