3of 4 channels in use
The 3 cameras in the box use 3 of the 4 channels on the recorder. So there is 1 channel left over if you want another camera later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 7 days of footage
There is 1TB of storage in the box.
Your choice
You can open the builder with this kit already loaded, then swap the cameras, pick a bigger drive or choose longer cables. It checks each change for you, so everything you end up with will work together.

Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
Yes. The recorder has four PoE ports and this kit uses three.
Yes. The cameras are sold as audio PoE turrets.
A 1TB hard drive, already installed.
A three-camera PoE set in black for a front, side and back of a property. The cameras are UKVISION UK-CI-4K-G1-BLACK units: 8MP PoE turrets with Smart Hybrid Light and audio. The recorder is a four-channel Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1/4P, so one spare port remains.
PoE means each camera uses one network cable for power and picture, so no power adaptors are needed. The NVR takes cameras up to 12MP, offers AcuSense human and vehicle detection and outputs 4K over HDMI. A 1TB hard drive is already installed.
The box holds the recorder, three cameras, three 20m Cat6 patch cables and a 1.5m HDMI cable. You need a monitor with an HDMI input and fixings for the cameras. Mount them, run each cable to a PoE port, connect the monitor and set the schedule.
Because the cameras are black turrets, they look tidy on dark fascias and can be angled slightly after fixing, which helps when framing a side passage or a back gate from the wall.
A fourth camera can use the last PoE port. Past that, add a PoE switch, or choose a larger recorder from the IP PoE kits. A 1TB drive suits a short recording history; for longer, see the 2TB sets in the CCTV kits.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

In the box
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 7 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Network (IP) system
One cable to each camera brings it power and picture.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
