Two 8MP turret cameras with Hikvision's Smart Hybrid Light, a 4-channel PoE recorder and a 1TB drive that is already fitted.
The cameras are Hikvision DS-2CD1383G2-LIU turrets, 8MP (3840 × 2160) with a fixed 2.8mm lens and a 113° view. Smart Hybrid Light combines infrared and white light up to 30 metres, and the camera separates people and vehicles from other movement. A built-in microphone records sound and the IP67 housing suits outdoor mounting. Each runs from PoE (802.3af), so one network cable carries power and video.
The DS-7604NXI-K1/4P recorder has four PoE ports, accepts IP cameras up to 12MP and uses AcuSense to tell people and vehicles from other movement. It has a 4K HDMI output, one SATA bay for drives up to 10TB and a LAN port for remote viewing through Hik-Connect.
In the box: the recorder with a 1TB hard drive installed, two turret cameras, two 20m Cat6 patch cables and a 1.5m HDMI lead. You need a monitor and fixings. Mount each camera, run its cable to a PoE port, plug in the monitor and set the recording schedule.

Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 11 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.

One cable to each camera brings it power and picture.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
