Eight cameras with eight PoE ports means a finished system in one box. The UK-CI-3K-G1 turrets have a microphone and a speaker, so this set suits a larger shop, a yard or a block of units where you want to hear and speak as well as watch.
The UK-CI-3K-G1 is a 5MP PoE turret (3072 × 1728) with a 2.8mm lens, 98° of view and Smart Hybrid Light that reaches 30 metres. A built-in microphone and speaker allow two-way talk.
In the box: the 8-channel PoE DS-7608NXI-K1/8P NVR; 8 UK-CI-3K-G1 5MP audio PoE turret cameras; 8 UKVISION Cat6 patch cables of 20m; a 1.5m HDMI cable and a 2TB hard drive, already fitted. The NVR powers the cameras over PoE, so there are no power adaptors to buy. You provide a monitor with an HDMI input and a place to mount each camera. Its eight PoE ports power and connect the cameras directly, it handles IP cameras up to 12MP and plays back eight channels at once.
Fitting is straightforward. Mount the 8 cameras, run each Cat6 patch cable back to a PoE port on the NVR, connect a monitor over HDMI and set the date and the recording schedule on the recorder. Nothing else has to be bought to get recording.

The 8 cameras in the box use 8 of the 8 channels on the recorder. There is a camera on every channel already. For a bigger system, the next step is a recorder with more channels.
Around 11 days of footage
There is 2TB of storage in the box.
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 11 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.

One cable to each camera brings it power and picture.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
