HikvisionModel DS-2CD1327G2-LUF-2.8MM-W
A network recorder (NVR)
A network (IP) camera.
Check your recorder takes 2 MP cameras.
Not sure which recorder you have? A DVR has a row of round twist-on (BNC) camera sockets on the back; an NVR has none.

The Hikvision DS-2CD1327G2-LUF is a 2MP turret camera that keeps its picture in colour after dark, using a white light that reaches 30m. It is a straightforward way to add a view of a doorway, patio or walkway to an existing network system.
The fixed 2.8mm lens covers 106° across, so one unit watches a wide patch of ground. A built-in microphone records sound, and human and vehicle detection can trigger recordings. H.265+ compression keeps file sizes down.
One Cat5e or Cat6 cable carries both power (PoE 802.3af) and video, or you can use a 12V DC supply instead. The housing is IP67 rated for outdoor mounting. It works with Hikvision recorders and ONVIF-compatible software.
