The Hikvision DS-3E0526P-E is a rack-mountable unmanaged switch with twenty-four Gigabit PoE ports, one Gigabit RJ45 uplink and one Gigabit SFP fibre uplink. It is for a larger site with many PoE cameras on a single switch.
It supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE, with up to 30W per port and a total PoE budget of up to 370W. Add up the power your cameras draw before using all twenty-four ports.
6 kV surge protection helps protect the switch. The rack-mountable metal chassis is plug and play and needs no configuration. The SFP uplink lets you link to other equipment over fibre.
For a smaller job, the Hikvision DS-3E0518P-E has sixteen PoE ports.
Twenty-four ports with a 370W budget leave plenty of room, but do the sums for your cameras first. Most fixed cameras use well under the 30W port limit, while PTZ cameras and cameras with lights can draw more.
