If a camera position is further than 100m of cable from your PoE switch or recorder, this GoodTop 4-port PoE extender adds another 100m of reach. It has one input port and three output ports, all gigabit and all IEEE 802.3af/at.
The extender has no power supply of its own. It draws up to 30W from the PoE device upstream and shares up to 25W across its outputs, with a maximum of 15.4W per port. That suits small cameras at a far garage, shed or gate. It supports three levels of cascade, and output ports 1 to 3 support VLAN isolation.
There is nothing to configure. Use at least Cat5e cable; Cat6 is recommended. Check your cameras' power draw first.
