A balun lets a coax-format camera use network cable you have already run. This one is passive, so it needs no power supply, and it is normally fitted in pairs, one at each end of the run.
It has a BNC male connector and a screw terminal block for the twisted pair, so no special plug is needed. It carries HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and analogue video for cameras up to 8MP (4K) over Cat5e or Cat6 UTP.
For a coax kit where the cable route is already network cable, this adds a camera without running coax. Order two per camera.
