Your choice
You can open the builder with this kit already loaded, then swap the cameras, pick a bigger drive or choose longer cables. It checks each change for you, so everything you end up with will work together.

Good to know
Order on a weekday before 4pm and your kit is sent that same day. Anything ordered after 4pm, or over the weekend, is sent the next working day.
Yes. It can come back to us for up to 14 days if you simply change your mind, or up to 30 days if it reaches you faulty.
The iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT recorder with the 6TB drive fitted, three 8MP 4K smart dual light fixed turret, 2.8mm lens cameras, 3 RG59 BNC video and power leads, 20m each, a 12V 3A power supply with a 4-way splitter and UK plug and a 1.5m HDMI cable.
Yes, you need a monitor or TV with an HDMI input to see the picture. The kit has a 1.5m HDMI cable to join it to the recorder.
The recorder has 16 channels and this kit uses 3, so 13 are free. Ask us which camera and power you need before you order.
You get a 16-channel Hikvision iDS-7216HUHI-M2/XT recorder, three 8MP 4K smart dual light fixed turret, 2.8mm lens cameras and a 6TB hard drive fitted inside the recorder. The recorder is a 8MP 1U H.265 AcuSense unit.
Every camera has its own 20m RG59 BNC lead that takes video and DC power along one cable. Work out the length of each run before you order.

You need a monitor or TV with an HDMI input, a mains socket near the recorder and a way to fix each camera in place.
It suits three spots, such as the front door, the drive and the back garden. The recorder has 16 channels and this kit uses 3, so 13 more camera inputs are free for later. Ask us before you add one, so you get the right camera and power. This is a coax kit: the cameras and recorder work over BNC leads, not network cable, and the kit does not include a monitor. More kits are in CCTV Kits and Turbo HD Kits.
Other sizes
The same recorder and cameras, packed for a different number of views.

In the box
The 3 cameras in the box use 3 of the 16 channels on the recorder. So there are 13 channels left over if you want more cameras later.
Adding cameras later? First make sure the recorder handles their resolution and has enough recording bandwidth, and that a power or PoE port is free for each one.
Around 46 days of footage
There is 6TB of storage in the box.
Pick a different hard drive
Recording around the clock in H.265, that holds roughly 46 days of footage. Our sum allows 1 Mbps for each camera of 2MP or less, 2 Mbps for each one above that up to 5MP, and 4 Mbps for each one sharper than 5MP, added together when the cameras are not all the same model. Your own settings, how busy each view is and how much of the drive is usable all change the true number. With motion-only recording, it comes down to how often something moves in view.
Coax (HD analogue) system
Plugs into the coax cable already in your walls.
First, look over the box list: it names the power supplies, cables and mounting parts included. Then plan where each camera goes and how long each cable needs to be, because knowing how many cameras you have does not tell you what they will cover. At every spot, check what the lens can see, the lighting, and how exposed the camera will be to the weather.
