A passive balun lets network cable carry the video from an analogue HD camera. This one has a gold plated BNC male plug for the camera or recorder and an RJ45 port for Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cable.
It supports HD-TVI, AHD, CVI and standard analogue video, up to 8MP (4K). It needs no power, because it is passive. Baluns are normally fitted in pairs, one at each end of the run.
Use them to add a camera to a kit where network cable is already in the wall. Order two per camera, and check your recorder takes the same signal type as the camera.
